ABOUT US
Ben's Wish Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501 (c) (3) public charity and was created to provide bereavement packages to families of pediatric patients in various healthcare and end of life facilities. Ben's Wish Foundation will use donations, monetary or in-kind, to prepare these packages.
No parent expects to be taking a trip to the NICU when their baby is born, let alone think about
leaving the hospital without their child. Not only does our organization support families in the NICU but also in the Pediatric and Labor and Delivery Units. Our organization will comfort these parents by providing bereavement packages to include such things as special blankets/pockets made from wedding gowns for final photos and burial services. These packages will also include items that affirm the importance of their child's life.
In 2020 we will be expanding our efforts to End of Life Facilities which include but are not limited to hospice care and funeral homes.
Ben's Wish Foundation was founded by me, Kim Denton, Benjamin's mother. When Ben passed away, I knew I wanted him to be remembered in a special way. This organization will not only help remember Ben, it will help others!
